Spring Break

The school will be closed from Monday, March 8, 2010, through Friday, March 12, 2010, for Spring Break. School will resume on Monday, March 15, 2010. 

SAT Testing

We will be administering the Stanford Achievement Test the week of March 29, 2010.  Please make sure that your children get plenty of rest and arrive on time.  They will need several #2 pencils and snacks or snack money for the week. 

Easter Break

The school will be closed for Easter Break on Friday, April 2, 2010, through Monday, April 5, 2010.  School will resume on Tuesday, March 6, 2010.

Spring Fling

We are currently planning for our Spring Fling again this year.  The tentative date is Friday, April 16, 2010.  We are also planning to have the paintball battle again on a different day. Keep an eye out for more information in the future.

Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act

This is to notify you that Waverly Hall Christian Academy has received an affidavit from the builder stating that no asbestos materials were used in the construction of the school building.

According to the law under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), all public and non‑public schools must be inspected by a certified inspector or have an affidavit stating that no asbestos has been used in the construction of the school building.  No asbestos material was used in the construction of our school.

A copy of the affidavit is on file in the school’s office and may be inspected by any employee, student or school parent who wishes to do so.

Next Year

It is hard to believe that in about three months school will be out for the summer break.  We are beginning to plan the calendar for next year and would love some input from you, our parents. Please give us some suggestions about school wide field trips (such as the ski trip), activities, and other events.
